Prefers consistent moisture, and well-drained soil. Prefers sun, shade tolerant. Blooms most with more sun. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous flowering. 
This variety forms a dense plant base that does not die back until late fall in our climate. Deer-resistant, rabbit-resistant.
