How Plantness works

We keep things simple, personal, and reliable. What to expect depends on what you order.

Two delivery cadences

Hardlines and supplies (within 2 business days)

Mulch, pinestraw, soils, amendments, and other shelf-stable goods deliver within 2 business days. We pick up locally as orders come in, then deliver to you on the soonest day we can get to your neighborhood. You will get a note when we are on the way.

Plants and live items (weekend route)

Plants and live items deliver on our weekend route, across Saturday and Sunday. Order by Thursday at 8pm to make that weekend's run; orders after the cutoff go on the following weekend.

Mixed orders

If you order both hardlines and plants in the same cart, we hold the order and deliver everything together on the weekend so it is one stop at your door. Let us know at checkout if you would rather we split it into two deliveries.

Hand-picked, every time

Plants are personally selected for each weekend's route, choosing the healthiest plants and the right items for the season. If something does not meet our standards, we will not send it. Better to wait a week than send you a plant that will not thrive.

If a plant has to be reordered

Our catalog reflects what our supplier reports as available, but inventory shifts. If a plant on your order has to be reordered, that typically adds about a week to your delivery. We may also fulfill part of your order this weekend and bring the held item the following weekend. If the timing is going to slip beyond what feels reasonable, we will reach out and offer a substitute, a wait, or a refund.

Catalog availability

Our catalog reflects what is actually available right now. Items are listed in two ways:

• In stock now. Ready to go for the current ordering window.
• Available to order. Items we can source for you with a bit of lead time. Place your order and we will have it ready for your next delivery.

The catalog changes with the seasons, so check back often. There is always something new growing.
