Compact Leucothoe with four-season interest - this unique doghobble sprouts vibrant red new growth in the spring, spends summer as a lush green, and transitions to crimson purple in the fall and winter. Leucothoes are incredibly hardy in our area once established, and this variety works in mass plantings, large containers, or as accent color tucked into the edges of garden beds. Grows to only 2.5' tall and wide, evergreen, deer-resistant - small spring blooms are delightfully fragrant white bells. 3 Gallon size for quick maturity & maximum impact from day 1.
