The southern shade classic, hostas are beautiful as border plants, grouped around the bases of trees, or interspersed in a woodland garden bed. Blue Angel is one of the largest blue-hued hostas available, and can grow into 48 inch mounds of heart-shaped leaves. Sends up spikes of pale lavender flowers in late spring. Happiest in shade to part shade, and consistent moisture - protect from harsh afternoon sun. Dies back at our first freeze, and emerges larger in the spring.
