Blueberry Vaccinium 'Climax' 3G

Abundantly productive blueberry shrub that grows to 6'-8', 'Climax' is a native rabbiteye blueberry cultivar developed by University of Georgia to thrive in Georgia heat & humidity. Firm, deep-blue berries are suited to fresh eating, baking, and preserving, and are sturdy enough to be a farmer's market darling.

Full sun preferred, will tolerate part shade. Best fruit production occurs with 6+ hours of sun a day. 
Consistently moist, well-drained soil is ideal, but this blueberry tolerates a wide variety of Georgia soils.
Deciduous. Bright green leaves turn a dramatic red in fall.
Plant with other rabbiteye blueberry varieties for cross-pollination & strong fruit production. Loved by birds, pollinators, wildlife (and neighborhood children).
Excellent planted en masse as a hedge, or added to sunny beds and woodland edges.
