Ajuga 'Chocolate Chip' (1 Gallon)

Ajuga is the perfect groundcover: holds up to foot traffic, suppresses weeds, stabilizes the soil, is drought-tolerant, AND it sends up cute blue to purple flower spikes in the early spring, that are loved by pollinators. 
Chocolate Chip Ajuga is a dwarf variety that grows only 3" tall, and forms dense mats of ground cover. Best in partial shade, more sun will bring out the purple-bronze colors of this cultivar. It's best to avoid harsh afternoon sun. 
Consistent moisture will help ajuga get its start, but it bounces back surprisingly well after dry weather. Deer and rabbit-resistant. 
1 gallon size, space multiple plants 6"-10" apart to form a mat.
